Sarah Mattson
I majored in graphic design at the University of Minnesota College of Design. After interning abroad at an agency in Sydney, Australia, I went on to design at Bite Squad, where I have worked for nearly three years.
My work at Bite Squad has allowed me to manage the visuals of two national restaurant delivery brands in 400+ markets. As the only graphic designer at a dual-branded company, I have had the opportunity to shape, art direct and even rebrand the image of Bite Squad and Waitr (our Southern delivery counterpart who acquired us at the beginning of 2018).
My creative approach—no matter the medium—is to find points of tension behind the idea I’ve been assigned. I always keep in mind the audience I am designing for, and for me, it is all in the details.
